4D Ultrasound Videos Made at our Studio
We are often asked to explain the difference between 2d ultrasound and 3d or 4d ultrasounds. That is why we posted these 4d ultrasound scans, which are just smaller versions or fragments of the original ultrasound sessions that are performed at our ultrasound facility. These DVD recordings are combinations of 2d ultrasounds (black and white two-dimensional ultrasound images), 3d ultrasounds (colored real photos of your baby), and 4d ultrasounds (movements of the baby). To watch the videos, click on the image below or go directly to our channel. Enjoy!

The Difference Between 2D Ultrasound and 3D 4D Ultrasounds
2D ultrasound which produces black and white images based on the effect of sound waves and was introduced a long time ago. 3D and 4D ultrasound technology is also based on the same effect of sound waves but adds one more dimension. The “4D” or fourth dimension is time. That allows you to see how babies move, wiggle, stretch, yawn, or stick their tongues out as the scan is performed. You also can learn more from our posts: What Are 2D, 3D, 4D Ultrasound Waves? and Have or Not to Have 3D 4D Ultrasound?
How to Prepare for 3D 4D Ultrasound sessions
Drink! Drink! Drink! A bigger pocket of fluid in front of the baby’s face equal better quality of the 3d images.
Try to increase the amount of daily water consumption a week before your appointment up to 8 glasses. Drinking water doesn’t mean to keep your bladder full. Empty the bladder before your appointment.
The clarity of images during 4D scans depends on the position of the baby and the placenta, the amount of amniotic fluid, the gestational age, and the mother’s condition. We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of your baby.
Tips to Achieve a Pleasant Ultrasound Experience
To get beautiful ultrasound images and videos for unborn babies might be very challenging. During the procedure, a sonographer encounters many factors that could lead to poor quality of the 3d ultrasound photos.
Before making an appointment for the ultrasound session, you need to find out what kind of packages and services the particular imaging center is offering. Try to check out the quality and authenticity of the 4d scans that the ultrasound facility provides. We would advise you to do research thoroughly before going to your appointment. Also, ask yourself these questions:
Do you look for an ultrasound studio near you?
Do you check out the ultrasound cost?
Do you find out about the quality of the service?
At Ultrasound Baby Images, we believe that 3d 4d sessions must be an excellent bonding experience for expectant mothers and fathers to meet with their babies before the labor and delivery.
